New York Jets wide receiver Eric Decker sat out practice with tightness in his balky right hamstring, leaving his status uncertain for the team's game San Diego on Sunday.

Decker was limited Wednesday, but participated only in individual drills Thursday before he was told to sit out the rest of practice as a precaution. Coach Rex Ryan says Decker "just never felt right."

Decker has been bothered by the hamstring since injuring it in Week 2 at Green Bay. He says his leg felt tight when he woke up Thursday and couldn't get it loose.

He has been listed as questionable before each of the last two games, but played in both. Ryan says it's always a concern that it could be a lingering issue.
