Jets WR Eric Decker doesn't think knee injury is 'too serious'

The New York Jets are off to a 2-0 start this season after dominating the Indianapolis Colts on Monday night, 20-7. The defense was dominant, forcing five turnovers for the second straight week, but the offense was solid, as well.

While the win is great, the only real negative that came out of Indianapolis was Eric Decker's knee injury that forced him to leave the game in the fourth quarter. He was able to walk to the locker room under his own power and said the doctors believe it's a PCL injury, but he's not worried about the severity.

"I don't think it's surgical, so, I don't think it's too serious," Decker said, via Dom Cosentino of NJ.com. "I just kind of landed goofy on it. He landed on top of me, so I guess I just kind of hit my knee, and then he obviously the pressure as well from him landing on me."

Before leaving the game in the fourth, Decker had piled up eight catches for 97 yards and two touchdowns against the Colts. He and Brandon Marshall were a problem for the Colts' secondary all night as they combined for 15 catches, 198 yards and two touchdowns.

Decker is expected to have an MRI done on his knee Tuesday to determine the severity of the injury.
