Jets CB Cromartie 'feeling a lot better,' but Ryan 'concerned' about status of WR Holmes

Antonio Cromartie says his ailing hip is "feeling a lot better," and hopes to play in the New York Jets' game Sunday against the Miami Dolphins.

The cornerback says Friday the hip injury has restricted him all season from being "explosive," but was optimistic after running on the sideline during practice after sitting out the last two days.

Coach Rex Ryan says he is "concerned" about the status of wide receiver Santonio Holmes, who did not practice all week while dealing with a hamstring issue. Holmes says he's feeling good, but Ryan indicated that he — along with Cromartie and wide receiver Jeremy Kerley — would be a game-time decision Sunday.

Kerley is questionable while he recovers from a dislocated left elbow suffered on Nov. 3 against New Orleans.
