Jaguars sign Matt Roth

The Jacksonville Jaguars signed defensive end Matt Roth and waived punter Durant Brooks on Friday.
Roth ranked second on the Cleveland Browns last season with 86 tackles and tied for second with 3 1/2 sacks.
The Iowa product has started 45 of the 87 games he has played since being taken by the Miami Dolphins in the second round of the 2005 draft.
For his career, Roth has compiled 274 tackles and 20 sacks.
