Italy scored twice in the opening 10 minutes and defeated 10-man Netherlands 2-0 Thursday in an exhibition game featuring coaches Antonio Conte and Guus Hiddink.

Ciro Immobile scored his first international goal three minutes into the game at San Nicola Stadium. Daniele De Rossi added a penalty kick in the 10th.

Conte debuted as Italy's national coach. He replaced Cesare Prandelli, who resigned immediately after Italy's first-round elimination from the World Cup.

The well-traveled Hiddink is beginning his second stint in charge of the Netherlands. He is building on the work of Louis van Gaal, who guided the Dutch to third place in Brazil.
