Iowa's scoring resurgence keyed by emerging playmakers

Iowa has stayed healthy this season and found some playmakers, key developments in the team's improvement.

The Hawkeyes (3-1) scored four touchdowns on returns last week in a 59-3 win over Western Michigan, highlighting their new-found explosiveness heading into Saturday's game at Minnesota (4-0).

Iowa has already scored TDs in five different ways this season, including punt, interception and fumble returns. The Hawkeyes are averaging 35.3 points through four games — including three straight wins.
