Udine, Italy (SportsNetwork.com) - Inter Milan extended its unbeaten streak in league play to five consecutive matches on Tuesday with a 2-1 win over Udinese at the Stadio Friuli.

Coming off a 2-1 win over Roma on Saturday, Inter hoped to carry momentum from that result into Tuesday and things broke in favor of Inter in the 41st minute when Udinese's Maurizio Domizzi was shown a second yellow card and dismissed from play.

Eight minutes later the visitors got on the score sheet when Mauro Icardi converted a penalty kick, but Antonio Di Natale brought the sides level at 1-1 just two minutes later.

The hosts went down to nine players in the 59th minute when Emmanuel Agyemang- Badu was shown a straight red card and Inter found the winning tally in the 66th minute through former Arsenal man Lukas Podolski.

The result sees Inter Milan improve to 48 points from 32 matches played, good for seventh place in Serie A, while Udinese remains in 13th place with 38 points.
