Toronto, ON (SportsNetwork.com) - Houston Dynamo snapped a four game winless streak on Sunday as goals from Boniek Garcia and Will Bruin helped the club to a 2-1, victory over Toronto FC in Toronto's first home game this year at BMO Field.

Boniek Garcia booted the penalty shot and Toronto Keeper Chris Konopka guessed right and blocked the initial shot. The rebound bounced right back to Garcia who deposited the ball in the back of the net to give Houston a 1-0 lead in the 44th minute.

Benoit Cheyrou tried to respond for Toronto in the 45th minute, when he put a deflection just over the crossbar as time expired in the first half.

In the 53rd minute Giles Barnes ran 75 yards to the middle of the box and slid a pass to Will Bruin who made no mistake and buried it in the back of the net to give the Houston Dynamo a 2-0 lead.

Jonathan Osorio made a brilliant cross where, Jozy Altidore took a great position behind the defense and headed the ball past Tyler Deric to cut the Houston lead to 2-1 in the 77th minute.

In the late minutes of the game including stoppage time Toronto applied non- stop pressure but each cross was put just over the crossbar or Houston Keeper Deric would be there to seal the 2-1 win for Houston.
