Hewitt beats Becker to gain Gerry Weber Open final

HALLE, Germany (AP) — Lleyton Hewitt has reached his first final of 2010 by beating Germany's Benjamin Becker 6-7 (4), 7-6 (3), 6-2 at the Gerry Weber Open.

The eighth-seeded Australian needed almost 2½ hours Saturday to oust the home favorite.

He will meet the winner of the other semifinal between Roger Federer and Philipp Petzschner.
