Hawks recall first-round pick Payne

Atlanta, GA (SportsNetwork.com) - The Atlanta Hawks recalled first-round draft pick Adreian Payne from the NBA Development League on Sunday.

The No. 15 pick out of Michigan State had 24 points and 20 rebounds during a two-game stint with the Fort Wayne Mad Ants on Friday and Saturday.

He signed with the Hawks in July and has yet to appear in an NBA game.
