Harvard beats Cornell 73-60 for 4th straight win

Christian Webster scored 20 points and four teammates scored in double figures as Harvard defeated Cornell 73-60 on Friday night to sweep the season series.

Keith Wright notched his 10th double-double of the season with 10 points and 11 rebounds for the Crimson (19-4, 8-1 Ivy League), who won their fourth straight and 12th of their past 13. Brandon Curry added 18 points, Kyle Casey had 11 and Laurent Rivard 10.

Harvard shot 35 free throws, making 29, while Cornell made all six of its free-throw attempts.

The Big Red outscored Harvard in the paint 30-16 and in bench points 38-10.

Harvard led by 13 points at halftime and an 18-6 run in the second half gave the Crimson their biggest lead at 57-36 with 9:10 remaining.

Drew Ferry scored 12 points and Max Groebe added 10 for the Big Red (6-17, 2-7) who had won five of the previous seven games in the series.
