Grygera joins Fulham on one-year deal

Czech Republic defender Zdenek Grygera year contract.

Grygera had fallen out of favor with Juventus and had his contract canceled earlier this week by the Italian club, allowing him to move to Craven Cottage on a free transfer.

The 31-year-old also has the option of signing on for a further 12 months with Fulham at the end of his contract, and he is looking forward to playing in the Premier League.

"I am delighted to have completed my transfer to Fulham Football Club today," Grygera told the club's official website.

"It has always been an ambition for me to play in the Premier League and I am looking forward to an exciting new chapter in my career with Fulham."

Grygera has made 52 appearances for his country and spent time with Ajax from 2003-07 before making a switch to Juventus.
