Coral Gables, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - Carrington Love posted career-highs of 20 points and nine rebounds, helping Green Bay beat 15th-ranked Miami-Florida 68-55 on Saturday.
Keifer Sykes scored 18 points with seven boards for the Phoenix (6-2), who held the Hurricanes to 32.8 percent shooting.
Deandre Burnett paced Miami (8-1) with a personal-best 21 points. Sheldon McClellan finished with 16 points and eight rebounds and Angel Rodriguez added 12 points but shot 2-of-15 from the floor.
A Love layup gave Green Bay its largest lead of the game at 48-32 with 9:30 remaining, but Miami rallied behind a Burnett-fueled run over the next four- plus minutes. Burnett supplied 10 points on an 11-0 surge and his layup trimmed the deficit to 48-43 with 5:16 to play.
The Hurricanes were unable to get any closer as a Greg Mays dunk and Love free throw made it 59-49 with 1:44 left.
Green Bay was a perfect 8-for-8 at the foul line in the final 68 seconds.
Miami scored the game's first four points, but never led again after Alfonzo McKinnie hit a 3-pointer during a subsequent 7-0 burst by Green Bay.
The Hurricanes fell behind by 11, at 22-11 with 7:41 to play in the opening 20 minutes after Mays converted a jumper, before closing the gap to 25-23 at halftime.

Miami was seeking its first 9-0 start since winning the first 12 in 2007-08 ... The teams have split four all-time meetings, but Green Bay has won both matchups at Miami ... Mays finished with 10 points ... The Phoenix shot 60.9 percent from the floor in the second half.
