New York Yankees outfielder Curtis Granderson is back with the club after his second stint on the disabled list.

Granderson was in Friday's lineup batting fifth against the Padres having missed over a month with a fractured knuckle on his left pinkie finger after being hit by a pitch in a game on May 24.

Granderson began the season on the disabled list, recovering from a broken right wrist he sustained in his first plate appearance of spring training. He missed the first 38 games of the season and had just returned to the lineup on May 14. In eight games, he is hitting .250 with a home run.
