Gladbach teammates combine for preposterous own goal

Borussia Moenchengladbach visited Schalke on Friday with fourth place in the Bundesliga on the line. Gladbach led the Royal Blues by just a point going into the match, a lead they would relinquish partly due to a truly stupefying, yet hilarious, own goal.
With the score still 0-0 in the second half, Schalke's Leroy Sane stole the ball at midfield and powered down the left wing, leaving one defender in the dust before playing the ball in to Franco Di Santo.
Instead of finding Di Santo, though, Sane's ball pinballed off Gladbach's Martin Hinteregger, then off Havard Nordtveit, and off Hinteregger again before going into the net.
It was a pheomenal one-two from the defenders. Textbook, really. Except, you know, they didn't mean to.
Of course, Gladbach would go on to lose by a single goal, 2-1, as Schalke jumped the Foals in the standings. Rough!
