Giants sign first-round pick Stratton

The San Francisco Giants signed first- round draft pick Chris Stratton. The right-handed pitcher was the 20th overall pick in this month's draft.

Stratton, who attended Mississippi State, topped the Southeastern Conference with 11 wins and a 2.21 ERA, while finishing second with 123 strikeouts. He went 11-2 with one save, while walking 25 batters and holding opponents to a .211 batting average.
