San Francisco, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - The San Francisco Giants activated pitcher David Huff from the 15-day disabled list on Monday and optioned outfielder Juan Perez to Triple-A Fresno.
Huff missed the last three weeks with a strained left quadriceps he sustained while picking up his first major league hit against the Colorado Rockies on April 21.
The 29-year-old left-hander is 1-0 with a 3.86 ERA in eight appearances for the Giants this season.
Perez played in 21 games this season, but registered just one hit in 23 plate appearances for a dismal .050 batting average.
