The New York Giants did not practice on Monday, per NFL rules, but if they had, they would be short several key starters. Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, Robert Ayers, Geoff Schwartz and Ereck Flowers would have all been held out if the Giants had practiced on Monday.

Projected starter Jon Beason would have also missed Monday's practice in addition to Jerome Cunningham, Victor Cruz, Markus Kuhn and Daniel Fells. All eight players aside from Cruz have played more than a handful on snaps throughout the first two weeks of the regular season.

The Giants will host the Washington Redskins on Thursday Night Football. Turning things around on a short week is always difficult, but it is especially concerning when you consider the Giants' injury situation.
