Gardner-Webb sets future FBS matchups

(STATS) - Gardner-Webb announced future dates with three FBS opponents - Wyoming, Appalachian State and Charlotte - on Friday.

The Runnin' Bulldogs from the Big South Conference will travel to Wyoming on Sept. 9, 2017, for a first-ever meeting. They will visit Appalachian State on Sept. 22, 2018, and take the short drive to Charlotte on Aug. 31, 2019.

Gardner-Webb, coming off a 4-7 season under coach Carroll McCray, also has an FBS game this coming season, at Ohio on Sept. 24. The Runnin' Bulldogs are 15-20 through McCray's first three seasons.
