Olivier Giroud thinks he has done enough in recent games to earn a starting spot for France against Honduras on Sunday, and is looking forward to testing himself in what promises to be a bruising encounter.
The Arsenal forward has scored three goals in France's three World Cup warm-ups to strengthen his case for a starting role as France's center forward in Sunday's Group E match.
His strength playing with his back to goal along with his heading ability and athleticism could prove vital against a Honduras side renowned for its aggression, with England captain Steven Gerrard condemning some of the tackling as "horrific" in a recent friendly.
Giroud says "I'm not scared of anyone" and "it would be disappointing" not to start the game.
