Philadelphia, PA (SportsNetwork.com) - Philadelphia Flyers center Vincent Lecavalier is expected to miss the next two weeks with a lower body injury.

Flyers general manager Ron Hextall made the announcement Monday morning, but did not reveal the specific nature of the injury.

According to Philly.com, Lecavalier was in a walking boot Saturday night after a 4-3 shootout loss to Montreal. He was hit on the left foot by a shot from teammate Mark Streit, but played the entire game Saturday and was among the Flyers involved in the shootout.

Lecavalier, in his second season with the Flyers, has a goal and two assists in three games.
