Flames bring back Colborne

Calgary, AB (SportsNetwork.com) - The Calgary Flames re-signed forward Joe Colborne to a two-year contract on Tuesday.

Colborne, 24, set career highs in goals (10) and assists (18) in 80 games for the Flames last season.

The Calgary native, who was selected 16th overall in the 2008 NHL Draft by Boston, was acquired in September by Calgary from the Leafs.

Over 96 career games in parts of four seasons with the Flames and Maple Leafs, Colborne has registered 11 goals and 23 assists.
