Mike Felt scored 22 points and sank eight consecutive free throws in the closing stretch to lead North Dakota State past Oral Roberts 80-74 on Thursday night.

Michael Tveidt added 18 points for the Bison (8-6, 2-2 Summit), who snapped a three-game losing streak and won their sixth straight at home. Eric Carlson had 14 points and Freddy Coleman 12.

Damen Bell-Holter led the Golden Eagles (5-11, 2-3) with 17 points. Ken Holdman had 15, Warren Niles 12 and Roderick Pearson 11.

Oral Roberts, which has lost four straight, pulled into a 72-72 tie when Bell-Holter sank two free throws with 1:22 left.

Felt hit two free throws with 1:05 left to put the Bison up 74-72. But after Pearson fouled Felt with 11 seconds left, two technicals were assessed against Oral Roberts coach Scott Sutton. Felt drained six in a row, four on the technicals, to clinch it.
