Falcons safety William Moore is back after missing 7 games with a shoulder injury

Published January 08, 2015

Associated Press

Atlanta Falcons strong safety William Moore is set to return from a shoulder injury after missing seven straight games.

Moore, a sixth-year veteran and an alternate Pro Bowl selection two years ago, has 235 solo tackles and 14 interceptions in 62 career games.

The Falcons' injury report lists Moore and No. 3 receiver Harry Douglas (foot) as probable for Sunday's game against Arizona.

Starting receiver Roddy White (ankle) is questionable after missing practice all three days this week.

With Moore returning, Kemal Ishmael is likely to work again in a reserve role. Robert McClain will start for the second straight week at cornerback for Robert Alford (wrist).

Atlanta (4-7) has lost six of its last eight games. Arizona (9-2) won six in a row before losing last week at Seattle.
