Falcons HC Quinn doesn't think Eagles' offense is unique

Not everyone has been able to get a grip on the Philadelphia Eagles' offense under head coach Chip Kelly. New Atlanta Falcons head coach Dan Quinn isn't one of them. The new Falcons ball coach doesn't see the Eagles' offense as anything that different from what he has prepared for against other teams in the past.

"As we went through the whole offseason we knew there were certain weeks that teams run more tempo than others and some you have to prepare for," Quinn said last week, per Matt Lombardo of True Jersey. "They're not unique in the league in terms of trying to play fast.

"We know it's part of the game. It's how we play. We've really been operating in that function knowing that there will be teams throughout the year that play that way. It really comes down to our technique and how we play. That's really the emphasis and the point I try to drive home to our guys."

The Eagles are known for practicing during the week and playing with a tempo unmatched by NFL standards. The goal is to put pressure on other NFL teams who are not used to playing and practicing at this pace. The numbers don't lie -- under Kelly, the Eagles' offense has averaged 28.6 points per game with Michael Vick, Nick Foles, Matt Barkley and Mark Sanchez.
