Falcons cornerback Asante Samuel leaves game against Cardinals with right shoulder injury

Published November 20, 2014

Associated Press

Falcons cornerback Asante Samuel has left Sunday's game against the Arizona Cardinals with a right shoulder injury.

Samuel was hurt when making a hit on Cardinals receiver Larry Fitzgerald as Fitzgerald was trying to make a catch in the first quarter. The pass from John Skelton was incomplete.

Samuel walked off the field holding his right arm to his side. After being checked on the sideline, Samuel was escorted to the locker room.

The Falcons say Samuel's status is questionable for the remainder of the game.
