Eagles WR Jackson, DT Cox leave game against Carolina with injuries

Published November 20, 2014

Associated Press

Philadelphia wide receiver DeSean Jackson and defensive tackle Fletcher Cox both left the Eagles' game against Carolina with injuries.

Jackson was doubtful to return after suffering a sternum injury in the first quarter Monday night. Cox suffered a lower back/tailbone injury and was questionable to return. X-rays on both players were negative.

The Eagles were already playing without quarterback Michael Vick and running back LeSean McCoy because of concussions.

The Eagles led 15-14 at halftime.
