Dylan Talley scored 14 of his career-high 22 points in the second half to lead Nebraska past Nebraska-Omaha 75-62 in the first match-up between the two schools.

Nebraska (3-0) trailed hot-shooting Nebraska-Omaha 46-44 after Kaong Dolouny's tip-in with 15:45 remaining. The Mavericks had hit 61 percent of their shots to that point, but then went cold.

A pair of Andre Almeida inside baskets started a 14-2 Nebraska run that put the Huskers up 58-48 on Talley's layup with 8:47 left. After trading baskets, the Cornhuskers sealed the win with 7-0 run capped by Benny Parker's breakaway layup that made the score 75-60 with 44 seconds left.

Nebraska-Omaha (1-4) went more than 7 minutes without a field goal during the first Nebraska run. The Mavericks scored just 16 points in the final 15:45.
