Mario Dunn Jr. did not miss a shot from the floor, scoring 15 points as Montana held on to defeat Idaho State 62-61 Saturday night.

Keron DeShields made a layup to give Montana a 61-53 lead. Idaho State answered with Tomas Sanchez hitting a trey and Chris Hansen scoring four points to pull Idaho State with 61-60 with 57 seconds to play. Montana's Kareem Jamar made one of two free throws to give the Grizzlies a two-point lead with 26 seconds left, but Jamar then fouled Andre Hatchett with a second to go. Hatchett missed his second free throw attempt, and Chris Kemp grabbed the rebound to seal it for the Grizzlies.

Dunn was 5 of 5 from the floor, including three 3-pointers. Jamar and Jordan Gregory added 12 points apiece for Montana (14-11, 9-7 Big Sky).

Sanchez had 17 points to lead Idaho State (10-15, 7-9).
