Ducks, Sexton agree on two-year contract

The Anaheim Ducks and 24-year-old forward Dan Sexton agreed to a new two-year contract on Monday.

Sexton appeared in a career-high 47 games with Anaheim last season, recording 4 goals and 13 points. Sexton also appeared in 17 games for Syracuse of the American Hockey League (AHL) in 2010-11, registering 9 goals and 17 points.

An undrafted free agent, Sexton made his NHL debut with Anaheim in 2009-10, collecting 9 goals and 19 points in 41 games, leading all Ducks rookies in assists and points.

The 5-10, 174-pound winger has appeared in 88 career NHL games with Anaheim, amassing 13 goals and 32 points.
