Anaheim, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - The Anaheim Ducks have signed forward Tim Jackman to a one-year extension through the 2015-16 season, the team announced Thursday.

The veteran enforcer was scheduled to be an unrestricted free agent at the conclusion of this season.

Jackman leads the Ducks with 84 penalty minutes and has recorded five goals and two assists over 48 games for the Pacific Division-leading Ducks in 2014-15.

The 33-year-old has appeared in 474 career games over 11 NHL seasons with Columbus, Phoenix, Los Angeles, the New York Islanders, Calgary and Anaheim. Jackman has amassed 32 goals, 43 assists and 800 penalty minutes during that stretch.
