Allen Park, MI (SportsNetwork.com) - Tests on Monday revealed that Detroit Lions linebacker Stephen Tulloch suffered a torn ACL in his left knee Sunday and will be lost for the season.

Tulloch was injured when celebrating a sack of Green Bay quarterback Aaron Rodgers. The linebacker jumped, did the popular "Discount Double Check" motion across his belt and suffered the injury while landing.

"You're passionate about the game and you want to get up and celebrate and people do it many times," said Tulloch after the game. "It's unfortunate that it happened to me."

Tulloch had 20 tackles and two sacks in three games this season.

Lions coach Jim Caldwell said he doesn't plan on squashing post-play celebrations in the wake of the injury.

"It's not going to happen," said Caldwell on Monday when announcing the injury. "This is an emotional game ... we want enthusiasm."
