If you were wondering what kind of impact Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant will have Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks, it sounds like it will be more than just a decoy.
The Cowboys star receiver is slatted to play against the Seahawks, making his return to the field after breaking a bone in his foot in Week 1 against the New York Giants. NFL.com Ian Rapoport reports that Bryant will play, barring any setbacks in warm-ups, and that the Cowboys will monitor his snap count.
But when Bryant talked to reporters this week, he sounded more like a player ready to make an immediate impact than one who will be playing it safe.
"If I play, I'm not thinking about nothing; I'm playing," Bryant said according to The Dallas Morning News. "Dez is Dez. I have to remove myself from the situation. If I go out there, I'm not going out there to paint. I'm going out there to play football."
That's great news for fantasy football fans everywhere...unless your league gives out points for brush strokes.
