Devils rally for shootout win over Panthers

Ilya Kovalchuk scored the winner in the 2 win over the Florida Panthers.

Zach Parise and Patrik Elias each had a goal in regulation while Kovalchuk added two assists for the Devils, who have won three of four. Martin Brodeur stopped 24 shots and both shooters he faced in the shootout.

Kris Versteeg scored both goals for the Panthers, who have lost three straight. Jose Theodore made 32 saves in the loss.
