In his first meeting against his old team in Week 2, Philadelphia Eagles running back DeMarco Murray rushed for just two yards on 13 carries, and the Eagles lost to the Dallas Cowboys 20-10. In the Eagles' 33-27 Week 9 overtime win, Murray finally got revenge on his former team.
Murray racked up 83 rushing yards and a touchdown on 18 carries -- his highest yards per carry as a Cowboys. He also added 78 yards receiving on six receptions, including this impressive 44-yard wheel route:
"He had a lot of animosity from that last game," offensive tackle Lane Johnson said of Murray after the game to reporters, per Philadelphia Magazine. "This was great for him."
The Eagles' offense was clicking on all cylinders after a slow start. They finished with 172 rushing yards and 459 total yards combined in the win.
