Girona, Spain (SportsNetwork.com) - Carlos Del Moral carded a 5-under 67 on Friday to claim medalist honors at the European Tour's Final Qualifying Stage tournament.

Del Moral finished the six-round tournament at PGA Catalunya Resort at 26- under-par 402. Del Moral earned his European Tour card through Q-School for the fourth time in the last six years.

Fabrizio Zanotti shot a 4-under 68 during his final round to claim second place at 21-under, while Marco Crespi (70) finished in third at 15-under.

Del Moral entered the final round with a comfortable 4-stroke lead to essentially assure him a return to the European Tour next season, allowing him to cruise through the Stadium Course on the final day.

The Spaniard countered a pair of bogeys with an eagle and five birdies to account for his 67.

Twenty-seven players made the cut for tour cards and that number came at 9- under-par 419.

Among those to miss the cut were Tjaart Van Der Walt and Edouard Espana, who each bogeyed their final holes to finish a shot short of receiving their card for next season.

Espen Kofstad joined them at 8-under, but all three have secured full Challenge Tour rights for next season.
