(STATS) - Intrastate rivals Dartmouth and New Hampshire have agreed to four future games, and there's no better time after Dartmouth brought competitiveness back to the FCS series this season.

The Big Green won 22-21 on Sept. 17 at home to end a 13-game losing streak and a 20-game winless streak against New Hampshire. The series began with the Big Green winning the first 16 games and the Wildcats have a 19-18-2 overall lead.

The two schools will resume the series on Oct. 16, 2021 at UNH in Durham and play the following October at Dartmouth in Hanover. After a one-year hiatus, they will meet at Dartmouth on Sept. 28, 2024 and at UNH on Sept. 20, 2025.

"It is a great opportunity for both programs and their fans when the state's two Division I football programs meet," UNH coach Sean McDonnell said.

Dartmouth is an Ivy League member and New Hampshire plays in CAA Football.
