A crew member for Dale Coyne Racing was injured Saturday after being struck by Tristan Vautier's car during a pit stop.

Vautier's front left tire changer was hit on the leg early in the 500-mile IndyCar race after being clipped as Vautier tried to pull out of his stall. The crewman had to be helped to a cart and was taken to the infield medical center.

Two members of Dale Coyne Racing's team were injured at the Indianapolis 500 when Pippa Mann and James Davison collided as they left the pits, and Davison's car got turned into Tristan Vautier's crew. Vautier's chief mechanic, Greg Senerius, suffered a left foot injury and rear tire changer Daniel Jang needed surgery for a broken right ankle.
