D-backs' Inciarte goes on concussion DL

Los Angeles, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - Arizona Diamondbacks outfielder Ender Inciarte was placed on the 7-day disabled list Friday due to a concussion he sustained during the previous night's game in Houston.

Inciarte took a knee to the head from Astros shortstop Jonathan Villar while stealing second base during Thursday's 5-4 loss. The rookie was later removed from the contest for precautionary reasons.

The 23-year-old has hit just .205 with four RBI in 34 games since being promoted from Triple-A Reno in late April, but has a .263 average (10-for-38) with three steals in 11 contests in June.

Outfielder Tony Campana was recalled from Reno in a corresponding move and will be available for Friday's game against the Dodgers in Los Angeles.

Campana made the Diamondbacks out of spring training, but was optioned to Reno on May 2 after hitting .160 in 23 games.
