Connor Hellebuyck makes 30 saves, gets first career shutout and Jets beat Penguins 1-0

Connor Hellebuyck made 30 saves and got his first career NHL shutout to help the Winnipeg Jets beat the Pittsburgh Penguins 1-0 on Sunday night.

The rookie goalie blanked Pittsburgh in his ninth NHL game, giving the Jets their first shutout this season and ending a two-game skid.

Bryan Little scored on a penalty shot in the first period.

The loss ended Pittsburgh's two-game winning streak. Penguins goalie Jeff Zatkoff made 27 saves.

Little's penalty shot was the first of his career and was awarded after he was pulled down on the way to the net by defenseman Ben Lovejoy with 5:14 left. He put his shot over Zatkoff's glove into the upper corner.
