Competitors react to throwback theme featured for Southern 500

Fans weren't the only ones who seemed to enjoy the throwback theme featured at Darlington Raceway last weekend.

NASCAR Sprint Cup Series teams, competitors and various media also took to Twitter to add to and comment about the various retro elements to the weekend as it winded down with Sunday night's Bojangles' Southern 500 in a popular return of the Darlington race to Labor Day weekend.

By all accounts, it was a big hit.
