Cologne acquires defender Jemal on loan

Cologne acquired Tunisia defender Ammar Jemal on loan for one season Tuesday from Swiss side Young Boys.

Jemal, 24, could extend his stay in Germany's Bundesliga at the end of the season, as the deal includes an option to buy.

He has played 23 matches for Tunisia and has three goals. He joined Young Boys in 2010 from Tunisian side Etoile du Sahel.
