American Top Team stalwart Cole Miller and Jim Alers will both get to compete close to home with the fighters expected to meet at FOX UFC Fight Night card in Orlando on Dec. 19.
Sources close to the bout confirmed the news to FOX Sports on Friday with verbal agreements in place for the featherweight matchup.
Miller looks to get back in the win column after suffering a loss in his last bout to Max Holloway in February. Prior to that fight, the Florida-based featherweight had racked up two wins in a row, including victories over Sam Sicilia and Andy Ogle.
The former "Ultimate Fighter" veteran will be competing in his 18th UFC fight, overall, since first debuting with the promotion back in 2007.
Alers actually hails from Orlando, so this bout will be right in his backyard as he competes in the UFC for the third time since joining the promotion in 2014.
Alers has gone 1-1 thus far including a win in his debut over Alan Omer. He'll face one of the most veteran competitors on the roster this time around, however, as he draws Miller for the new bout taking place in Florida.
Miller joins his American Top Team teammate Hayder Hassan on the card after he announced he was facing Vicente Luque in a rematch from a fight the two had during the last season of "The Ultimate Fighter". Hassan defeated Luque on the show by split decision and now the two welterweights will square off again in Orlando.
FOX UFC Fight Night is headlined by a lightweight title fight as champion Rafael dos Anjos takes on Donald "Cowboy" Cerrone in the main event while former heavyweight king Junior Dos Santos faces Alistair Overeem in the co-main event.
