Third-seeded Dominika Cibulkova battled back from a set down to upend top-seed Agnieszka Radwanska Sunday in the final at the Bank of the West Classic.

The 24-year-old Slovakian claimed her third career WTA title and first since winning Carlsbad last year by downing the top-seeded Pole by a 3-6, 6-4, 6-4 margin.

Cibulkova had lost her previous four meetings with Radwanska, including a 6-0, 6-0 blanking in the final at the Apira International at Sydney from earlier this year.

After dropping the first set to Radwanska, Cibulkova fought back to take the second before building a 5-4 cushion in the final set.

The world No. 4 Radwanska, who was seeking her 13th career singles title overall and third this year, fended off four match points before finally giving way to Cibulkova, who finished off a lengthy rally with a powerful winner to secure the Stanford crown.

Cibulkova took home $125,000 for her first-place finish.
