Eric Berry received an outpouring of support from the NFL community.

The Chiefs star can pay it forward now that he's healthy. Check out what he did for a local Chiefs fan fighting her own battle with cancer.

According to the Kansas City Star, Berry jumped into the VIP tent at Chiefs camp to talk with 24-year-old Alyssa Crabtree when he saw that sign.

The two talked for ten minutes about chemotherapy and, surprisingly, food.

"He's just a big inspiration," Crabtree told the Kansas City Star. "The fact that he was only diagnosed like eight months ago and is already back out there is awesome."

Berry is a world-class athlete. And, as evidenced by his support for others who are fighting cancer, a world-class person too.
