Kansas City, MO (SportsNetwork.com) - Safety Eric Berry will miss his third straight game Sunday when the Kansas City Chiefs play the San Francisco 49ers.

Berry is dealing with a high ankle sprain.

Wide receiver/running back De'Anthony Thomas is expected to make his NFL debut after dealing with a hamstring injury that has kept him out since training camp. Thomas is officially listed as probable.

Cornerback Marcus Cooper (knee) is questionable.

In other injury news, wide receiver Donnie Avery will not play this weekend following sports hernia surgery.

Avery, who has 14 catches for 156 yards in four games this season, is expected to miss at least four weeks.

Former 49er A.J. Jenkins is expected to start in his place on Sunday.
