Chicago Bulls center Joakim Noah sick, will miss Tuesday night game vs Orlando Magic

Published February 05, 2015

Associated Press

Chicago Bulls center Joakim Noah will miss Tuesday night's game with the Orlando Magic because of illness.

Noah didn't take part in the morning shootaround. The NBA's reigning defensive player of the year is averaging 6.3 points and 10 rebounds in the first three games of the season.

Taj Gibson is expected to start in place of Noah. Gibson didn't play Saturday in Minneapolis because of a sprained left ankle.

Derrick Rose, who missed the Timberwolves game after spraining his ankle during Friday's loss to Cleveland, is a game-time decision.
