Chargers re-sign G Wells

The San Diego Chargers re-signed guard Reggie Wells on Tuesday.

Wells has appeared in 117 games since entering the NFL with Arizona in 2003. He has started 91 of those contests and has also played for Philadelphia and Carolina.

Also on Tuesday, the Charles waived cornerback Greg Gatson and signed him to their practice squad.

Gatson, an undrafted rookie, appeared in San Diego's past two games.
