Chargers agree to terms with WR Meachem

The San Diego Chargers have agreed to terms year contract with free agent wide receiver Robert Meachem.
Meachem has spent his entire four-year career with the New Orleans Saints after being selected with the 27th pick of the 2007 draft.
Over 62 games with 25 starts for the Saints, Meachem has 141 receptions for 2,269 yards and 23 touchdowns.
His best year came in 2009 when he recorded career-highs of 45 catches, 722 yards and nine scores.
The Tennessee product will be the primary replacement for Vincent Jackson, who signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers earlier on Tuesday.
