Carolina Panthers' Star Lotulelei to reportedly miss a few weeks

The Carolina Panthers got some bad news that could have been far worse about defensive tackle Star Lotulelei. As David Newton of ESPN reports, Lotulelei will miss a few weeks with a stress reaction in his right foot.

Obviously, this injury could have been worse, but Steve Reed of The Associated Press explains that the Panthers are simply being cautious.

The fact that it's the same foot as Lotulelei injured last season is slightly worrisome, but this seems to just be something that should keep him out through a bit of training camp.

The Panthers badly need the run-stuffer back on the field, but unless there's some type of a setback, he shouldn't miss any regular season action.
